Corpus Domini in Orvieto
The Feast of Corpus Domini represents a great and traditional religious and folkloristic event in which the sacred linen stained by the blood of Christ is carried in procession to remember the Eucharistic Miracle of Bolsena which occurred in 1263.

Together with the religious procession, the event also sees the evocative parade of the historical procession that parades through the main streets and squares of Orvieto. The historical procession is a great representation of the customs of the city in medieval times: militias, institutions and corporations of the time.
